BIOGRAPHY

Forklift tells us:

MUSIC:
I'm influenced by every electronic sounding track I've ever heard, from 2Unlimited over Kraftwerk to Miss Kittin, and from Depeche mode to Telex. I also enjoy jazz music, and have enormous amounts of respect for jazz-gods like Charlie Parker, Oliver Nelson and Charles Mingus. But that does not mean that there aren't any modern jazz-minded artists around. Marc Moulin, Jazzanova and St.Germain have made some brilliant music. When I play, I always try to let different kinds of music influence my set, without making it seam like 'a big mash-up'. I will stay within the electronic genre wich main purpose is to make people dance , but I'm not scared of using jazz-, oriental or rock-sounds...

I started playing music (dj) when I was 15. I got some techno records from a friend who had stopped dj-ing. So I got started with one pick-up, a 2-channel mixer and a disc-man :-). And so, I became a little bit of an addict of the art...
